Annie Chou joined the Dawson Middle School faculty after more than a decade of teaching language in three different continents. Born in Taiwan, Ms. Chou moved to Montreal, Quebec when she was in elementary school. In Montreal she completed high school in French and attended Concordia University, an English-language university. After earning her B.A., Ms. Chou returned to Taiwan where she completed teacher training and taught English for five years in an elementary school. Ms. Chou then moved to Virginia where she completed her M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language and taught both Chinese and ESOL. Ms. Chou then moved with her family to Nigeria in West Africa where she taught French, Chinese, and ESOL at an American International School.

Ms. Chou likes spending time with her husband and two children, keeping up with the latest movies and exploring her new home of Las Vegas. Ms. Chou is passionate about traveling and has enjoyed many trips throughout Europe and Asia. Finally, Ms. Chou loves a good meal and would welcome any restaurant suggestions you may have!
