Personalized Modern Learning at Dawson

As Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs emphasizing student academics, well-being, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders.

Our independent school education comes to life in a fulfilling, modern learning environment designed for learners from age 3 through grade eight.

Through a personalized educational program rooted in our Core Values, each Dawson student is equipped with the world-readiness skills necessary for future success.

Our private school is redefining education by making learning individualized and relevant. Dawson educators leverage technology to develop new programming and approaches to engage students — meeting them where they are developmentally and equipping them with the skills required for success and fulfillment in an ever-changing world.

Student-Centered Approach

Dawson teachers are relationship builders who genuinely care about each student's individual growth. They believe in our Core Values and provide opportunities for students to exercise voice and choice as they find meaning in making the world a better place.

Looking back on my years at Dawson, I can see how every activity and every class was carefully created to help students develop skills we will need in the future. Daily 5s in lower school helped us be well-rounded. Student voice groups helped us express ourselves and embrace our differences. Sawyer Coulthard '24
