Lony Klein was born in Mexico and attended to college there to become a CPA. She worked in administration for 13 years and after her daughter was born, moved to Chicago where she began to work on her Montessori teacher certificate.
 
Lony has worked at numerous schools between Chicago and Las Vegas over the past 26 years. Working with children is a true passion of hers. She began working at Dawson in 2004 and left in 2015 to help take care of her grandsons. She returned back to Dawson in 2017 and loves her job! She also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, taking Pilates classes and swimming.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders.
