Rachael graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies. Passionate about education since graduate school, Rachael worked as an academic counselor to college students before joining Dawson in 2015. In her free time, Rachael enjoys contributing to Dawson's magazine the Petroglyph, unwinding with a great television show, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three sons.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders.
