Rachel Ferguson has her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Prairie View A&M University, her master's in management from Troy State University, and her master's in systems technology from the Naval Postgraduate School. She spent several years serving our country as a member of the Navy and most recently was a high school chemistry teacher at Eldorado within the Clark County School District. Ms. Pruitt also has previous experience teaching science to middle school students in Alexandria, Virginia.

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight.
