Annual Report 24-25
Dear Dawson Community,
As we close out our 25th anniversary year, we are at the threshold of a transformative era in which education is not just about preparing students for the world as it is, but equipping them to shape the world as it could be. Our students will tackle tomorrow’s challenges, make meaningful impacts, and become creative innovators.
Thank you for helping us celebrate Dawson’s 25th Anniversary by supporting our Annual Fund. Your generosity has a significant impact on our school and profoundly enriches the lives of our students.

As a process-driven institution, Dawson creates the conditions that allow our work to make a real difference. Dawson offers a transformational education. In what can be a performative society, that is no small thing. Though we like to be humble here, we can tell you that transformational education is rare. And it’s one of Dawson’s superpowers.
Community is also a Dawson superpower. Participation in our Annual Fund demonstrates the strength of our community, and thanks to your contributions, we provided an education rooted in purpose. This year, we hosted Pancakes and Play for a Purpose and donated all proceeds to Aveson Charter Schools, which were destroyed in the Southern California fires; engaged in the EC–4 Global Day of Play; sent fourteen students to Orlando, FL, for the International Academic Competition; honored the legacy of our founder, G.B. Henderson, with a student-driven geocaching event; elevated our commitment to safety and security; earned the 2025 Aspire Visionary Excellence Award; offered our teachers new opportunities for creative and collaborative learning; and celebrated our 5th and 6th grade team as the first ⅚ girls’ basketball team in school history to win the Red Rock Championship. Your commitment to our Mission and Core Values is the driving force behind these accomplishments, and we are truly grateful.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the limitless possibilities before us. With your continued support, we can build on this year's successes and create an even brighter future for our community. We invite you to join us for our upcoming events and initiatives as we continue to foster meaningful engagement and deeper connections across our community. Our new strategic direction is rooted in Amplifying Connections. We are committed to creating a vibrant ecosystem where partnerships, collaboration, and shared values define our culture.
Thank you again for your unwavering support. We are shaping not only Dawson’s future, but the lives of the students who walk our campus today and those who will follow. You can’t have a transformational education without a strong community. We are humbled to serve Dawson at this remarkable time and deeply moved by your philanthropy and belief in this school. We invite each of you to lean in as co-authors of Dawson’s next chapter.
With heartfelt appreciation,
