Sixth-grade's GLO-MAR Business Expo

Yesterday, Mr. Gillis' Global Marketplace (GLO-MAR) entrepreneurs unveiled their new business concepts to potential investors (fellow students and faculty)! GLO-MAR is modeled as an entrepreneur "Shark Tank" experience, where the students try to convince investors - in this instance, Dawson faculty, staff, and other students - to invest in their company. Many ideas and concepts were presented and GLO-MAR students pitched their business plans to all potential investors.

Dawson's Global Marketplace course is designed to provide practical information about the key aspects of the 21st-century global economy, what makes world trade work, and how trade affects students' daily lives. This course also focuses on entrepreneurial and critical-thinking skills.  #DawsonDifference
