Dawson Family Read-Aloud with Ms. Rourke: Sulwe by Lupita Nyong'o

Dawson teacher Michelle Rourke reads the New York Times bestseller Sulwe, written by Lupita Nyong'o, illustrated by Vashti Harrison, and published by Simon & Schuster.

This summer The Alexander Dawson School is excited to present family read-alouds featuring diverse anti-bias/anti-racist children’s books. Each reading will also include discussion questions regarding identity, history, race, and more, to help guide these important reflections at home.
