Three New Dawson Parent Trustees Appointed

On behalf of The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain Board of Trustees, we are pleased to announce the unanimous appointment of our three new Dawson parent trustees to the Board: Nicole Rogers, Tom Kaplan, and Carolyn Wood!

"As a bridge between the parent community and the Board of Trustees, parent trustees are vital to the overall health and success of any independent school board. They provide a unique insight into the family experience and perceptions of the School, as well as serve as trusted advocates in the community for the work of the Board, the head of school, and school administration. The role of parent trustee at Dawson is no different, and those elected to this position are expected to be supportive and positive representatives of the School within our internal and broader Las Vegas communities. For this reason, the vetting and selection of new parent trustees are conducted with great care and consideration. All three new parent trustees are active, enthusiastic, and highly-regarded members of the Dawson community with a track record of service to the School." - Head of School Dr. Carola E. Wittmann
