Asti graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.A. in Psychology in 2007 and M.Ed. in School Counseling in 2010.   She was born and raised in Las Vegas and has focused her career on helping youth in her community.  Prior to joining Dawson in 2017, she spent seven years at the non-profit Communities In Schools of Southern Nevada as the Director of Data and School-Based Counseling Liaison. 
She previously served as a Human Services Adjunct Professor for the Department of Educational and Clinical Studies at UNLV for nine years and an Adjunct Professor for the Human Services program at Great Basin College for two years. In her free time, Asti loves spending time with her husband and family, playing with her pets, hiking in the mountains, and lifting weights at CrossFit.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders. At Dawson, students achieve their individual potential while savoring life and meeting the challenges of the world.
