Neil is originally from Northern California. After graduating from Arizona State University where he studied political science and history, he gained professional and life experience educating middle and high school students in a wide range of social studies, including world and US history, street law and psychology. During a break from education, Neil took on the challenge of owning and operating his own restaurant. Neil has a M.Ed. from National University with an emphasis in multi-cultural education. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering for his favorite Bay Area sports teams, reading, cooking and eating.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight.
