Jennifer Rosebeck was born and raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut. She graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in human development. She continued her graduate studies at Boston College and earned a master's degree in elementary education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction. Jennifer began her teaching career in the Alexandria City Public Schools in Alexandria, Virginia, and pioneered a multi-age program at the Mount Vernon Community School, teaching grades two through four. She married her husband, Greg, in 1996 and moved to Las Vegas, where she taught kindergarten and second grade in the Clark County Public Schools before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her two children. Jennifer's children are both alumni of Dawson. Her son, Owen, graduated from Dawson in 2012, attended Pomona College, and is now a financial analyst in San Francisco.  Her daughter, Reese, graduated from Dawson in 2017 and is currently a senior at Bishop Gorman. Jennifer teaches third and fourth-grade science. She enjoys reading, cooking, and water sports. Jennifer has been an active member of the Dawson Community since 2002.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders. At Dawson, students achieve their individual potential while savoring life and meeting the challenges of the world.
