Born and raised in San Jose, California, Danielle moved to Las Vegas in 2006 after graduating from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology. Before coming to Dawson, Danielle worked for nine years in account management and financial advising at the college level and obtained her master's degree in counseling. She loves hiking, biking, paddle boarding and pretty much all outdoor adventures, especially in Lake Tahoe where she spends much of her spare time. Being from the Bay Area, she also is a die-hard 49ers fan and loves watching football.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders.
