Jose Vazquez will begin his tenth year at The Alexander Dawson School!  Jose graduated with his M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Previously, Jose taught fourth and fifth grades within CCSD, conducted professional development on Kagan strategies, served as an adjunct instructor at Nevada State College, and trained pre-service teachers on the use of online portfolios.  

Jose was born in California and moved to Las Vegas during the summer of 2004. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, researching innovative technology for the classroom, playing tennis, and most importantly, spending time with his family.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight.
