Karen Barra was born and raised in New Jersey. Previously, she and her husband Vincent ran their own public accounting company for 15 years.  In 1998, they moved west to Las Vegas with their small daughter to reconnect with family. Karen had the opportunity to work in the accounting field for a public company and a non-profit athletic group and subsequently joined Alexander Dawson in the spring of 2008. After over 20 years in Las Vegas, Karen feels like a native and still enjoys the dry heat of the desert. Her greatest love is her amazing daughter, Jessie, who she visits with as often as possible.
