Carola started her career teaching AP English Literature and Social Studies in a public school district northeast of Seattle. She started her career in school administration 21 years ago as a district curriculum director. Prior to Dawson, Carola's career also included the leadership at several K-8/5-12 private and independent schools. Carola's family is spread from California and the Pacific Northwest to New York City, the UK, and France, all making for great travel destinations or quick get-aways. And while a supporter of Dawson's love for all things March Madness, she is at heart an ardent soccer fan, cheering for the Seattle Sounders and following England's Premier League.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student wellbeing and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners.
Students achieve their individual potential while savoring life and meeting the challenges of the world.
