Anamika Phukan

Anamika grew up in India and graduated from The Maharaja Sayajirao University with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in English Literature. She also holds a diploma in IT and Robotics from the Nevada State Board of Education. She moved to Las Vegas with her family and has been with Alexander Dawson since 2018. Before teaching, she worked for eight years as a news anchor at a local TV station. Anamika loves spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and being active.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders.
