Rachael grew up in Wisconsin where she also completed her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For the last 19 years, Rachael has taught in Massachusetts, Northern Virginia, the Netherlands, and Las Vegas. While living in Virginia, she completed her master’s degree in Reading Education at the University of Virginia. She has experience working with students in Pre-K through fifth grade as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and learning strategist. Rachael enjoys reading, cooking, practicing yoga, playing tennis, being outside, and spending time with her husband and dog.

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight.
