Ivette Garcia-Gonzalez received her bachelor's degree in art from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her master's degree in library and information science from San José State University. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Ivette is passionate about serving our school community and connecting students and faculty to the resources they need. She also loves to read, watch movies, play video games, and spend time with her two cats. 

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders.
