A longtime Lakers fan, Tish Bazil grew up in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas to earn her master’s degree in special education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She previously taught preschool and high school, as well as neuro-diverse students throughout her professional career. She fell in love with Dawson as a Dawson mom many years ago. She is an avid writer and during her free time, she enjoys world travel, photography and spending time with her children.
The Alexander Dawson School
The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student wellbeing and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners.
