Ms. Chrystal loves working with students, especially when teaching music! She is proficient in many instruments, including the violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, vocals, and alto saxophone. At the age of 16, Ms. Chrystal started college, majoring in music. Afterward, she graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, integrating music and psychology. Ms. Chrystal also composes, and her compositions can be found throughout various short films. She is a music composition finalist at several small film festivals, the former conductor of the Military Youth Orchestra, and she has conducted orchestras for over 10 years. Besides music, Ms. Chrystal's greatest passion is advocating for communities that are systematically othered.

The Alexander Dawson School

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders. At Dawson, students achieve their individual potential while savoring life and meeting the challenges of the world.
