Hailey first discovered her passion for education while coaching children’s soccer and facilitating soccer camps in her youth. She has played competitive soccer since she could walk, ultimately earning her a full-ride soccer scholarship to the University of Houston, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, emphasizing children's psychology. Additionally, she obtained her Nevada Teaching License. Hailey has worked at Dawson since 2016 and this is her fourth year teaching first grade. Before joining the first-grade team, Hailey worked as a learning support specialist for grades 1-4 and later took over Lower School Language Lab to assist with individual student needs in literacy instruction.

Hailey enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and her daughter, Kinlee. Together they love traveling, trying new restaurants, and hiking with their dogs in their free time. She enjoys playing indoor soccer on multiple teams and always looks forward to game nights with her competitive family.
