Hailey first discovered her passion for education while coaching children’s soccer and facilitating soccer camps in her youth. She has played competitive soccer since she could walk, ultimately earning her a full-ride soccer scholarship to the University of Houston, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with an emphasis on children's psychology. Additionally, she obtained her Nevada Teaching License. Hailey has worked at Dawson since 2016. Prior to teaching in first grade, Hailey worked as a learning support specialist for grades 1-4 and later took over Lower School Language Lab to assist with individual student needs in literacy instruction.

In her free time, Hailey enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, traveling, trying new restaurants, and hiking with her dogs. She also enjoys playing indoor soccer on multiple teams and always looks forward to game nights with her competitive family.

The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, an independent school located on 33-acres in the community of Summerlin, is Nevada’s first Stanford University Challenge Success partner school for students in early childhood through grade eight. Utilizing the unique Challenge Success framework, Dawson uses research-based strategies and programs that emphasize student academics, wellbeing, and a healthy school-life balance to create more engaged, motivated, and resilient learners and leaders. At Dawson, students achieve their individual potential while savoring life and meeting the challenges of the world.
