Gina is a 22-year master teacher. She graduated from F.E.P Teacher's University in Mexico City with a B.A. in Elementary Education in Spanish. In the second year of her University studies, she started her career as a preschool lead teacher.  By 2006, she moved to Austin, Texas, where she started working as a Spanish teacher for grades PK-8 in a Title 1 charter school. In 2014, Gina started working at Magellan International School, where she earned certifications from the International Baccalaureate interdisciplinary PYP program.

Gina moved to Las Vegas in the summer of 2017 where she joined The Alexander Dawson school as K-4 Spanish teacher. Because of her love for traveling, she has being able to visit different places such as Germany, all the Caribbean islands, Costa Rica, Panama, Vancouver, and Alaska. Gina's favorite things to do are spending time with my 8-year-old flat-coated retriever Eclipse, doing yoga, aqua classes, watching movies, and spending time with her sister and nephews.
