Age-Appropriate, Play-Based Curriculum

Alexander Dawson’s differentiated approach to early childhood education seamlessly blends direct instruction with play-based activities. Our experienced and passionate educators tailor instruction to meet each child at their developmental level through ongoing assessments.

Dawson’s Early Childhood program nurtures, challenges, and supports students. We achieve this by fostering independence and honing essential skills such as problem-solving, listening, language, and fine and gross motor skills. Our curriculum includes literacy, mathematics, social-emotional development, technology, music and movement, studio art, library, and health and fitness.

At Dawson, we lay a strong foundation for your child’s educational journey while prioritizing social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Through intentional instruction and a commitment to each child’s learning goals, our NAEYC-accredited program prepares students for the K-8 experience and beyond.
