Lower School (Grades K-4) Education

The elementary school years at The Alexander Dawson School, which incorporates kindergarten through fourth grade, lay the foundation for student success. During these years, educational experiences cement lifelong passions and a love of learning. Dawson provides hands-on and deeper learning experiences that shape each child’s intrinsic motivation to learn and excel. At the heart of our program is the wonderfully warm and caring relationship formed between teachers and students where teachers inspire curiosity and provide opportunities that require critical thinking and collaboration. Together we help children express their own ideas, give them the tools to build skills and navigate new learning possibilities and challenge them to reach higher than they ever thought possible.
